"I haven’t taken on a hike yet. But the build quality is amazing"
"Awesome pack, met all expectations! Will probably buy the next size up as well."
"The overall design is perfect for lightweight hiking. Plenty of pockets and solid zippers. Rugged enough for the outdoors and straps make it comfortable to wear all day!"
"This thing is awesome. Perfect pack for day hikes. Carries everything I need for a full day in the mountains. Perfect size to carry 2 bottles a rain jacket and a hammock setup. Will get the 35L Pack next."
"There's a lot packed into this waist pack. I'll list the pluses for me first. The canvas a super strong Bottle holder comes in handy when needed and hidden when you don't need it. Liked the velcro front - I ordered a patch to give it a personal look. For it's size, it's extremely light and seems to wrap itself around your waist when you are putting it on. The ventilation padding in the waist keeps you cool. Storage pockets are ample for what i need it for (dog walking and shopping) Cons - There's so many zippers so close together I have to always look with my eyes to see what pocket I'm opening rather than just feel. The back pocket is part of the handle which is always in the way when you're trying to open that storage area (handle is sewn in the zipper seam) The canvas shows lint in the black color - should have ordered a lighter color. No where on your site do you show a model wearing the waist packs in the front (like a fanny pack) so you can see how big each size is. I took a chance with the 2. 5 and wouldn't want it any larger."
"I usually carry a sling bag, and was hoping this could replace it during my casual city hikes, but it's not a favorite. It's built extremely well, but that also makes it pretty heavy empty. My biggest complaint is that the pockets are too small. I can barely squeeze a cliff bar in the zippered hip pockets. The inner mesh zippered pocket is divided up into three pockets with only one zipper so you need to open all three to get to the last one, and it's so small anyways you can't fit anything much bigger than a lighter. I'm a fan of having smaller pouches in my bag to keep things together rather than having pockets for each one. So I have a tiny dyneema pouch for my med kit, and a lot of tools on my key chain. Both of these can only comfortably fit in the main pouch, making most of the other pockets useless. I intend to return this item."
"After 10 years of dreaming, I finally made the trip to Norway. The Mission EXP Hip Pack was the perfect all purpose carry all. As a carry on, it carried my Grayl, held my wallet and passport safely in the subtle back pocket. The main pocket held my phone, charging cords, AirPods and everything else. Leaving my pants pockets comfortably empty on the flights. While exploring Noway, the hip pack expandable pockets sheaths came in handy while shopping, held beers during the music festal, and carrying my uberleben stove and gear down to the beach to cook breakfast every morning. My Grayl gear made my trot to Norway, a dream come true."
"Very excellent product, well built, well thought out, virtually water proof, comfortable. Next level hip/fanny pac for sure."
"Besides using this in the outdoors, hiking, I recently went to Silverwood in Idaho, and this was a game changer. The drop-down water bottle pouches were so handy. I even hooked the carabiner to the key ring on the outside and was able to carry the bucket of popcorn. Also was able to carry my 360 camera my wallet in the secret zipper pouch. I love all the little compartments and it made for a great hands-free carrying experience. I wore it over my shoulder, kind of like Indiana Jones."
