"great products, purpose driven design and quality construction"
"I like the size and full zip access to the whole bag. The bag i replaced only had a small opening and it made it less enjoyable to use and find things. Size wise, I went with the smaller size on purpose. It will keep me from wanting to carry stuff I should just leave at home. A couple things I would like to see added. . On the front molle panel, there should be a bungee/cord lock, to allow for a jacket to be shoved quickly for storage. I would also really like the ability to add on a "beaver tail"/ trampoline pocket to that area. I have made both modifications and now I think it's the perfect pack for my next hunting trip."
"GRAYL, coming from the mind set of get home bag should be less that 25lbs. This allows carry by adult, child or elderly should they need to pick it up. Should someone need to assist if primary carrier was hurt and could not carry themselves. EXP Daypack – 25L has be a pleasant surprise in accomplishing this task. I have had the Mission EXP Daypack – 25L for a bit now and put some time into it. Both from the standpoint of packing it and wearing in the field. I was surprised at the packing space and options. Between the many interal and external zip pockets and Molle/ Velcro options to attach the G-Mod pouches. Found I could arrange my equipment effectively to access essentials on the go without having to drop the pack by using the G-Mod Large/Medium on the shoulder straps. While organizing my hammock/ sleep system, wet weather, tool kit, hygiene an the like in a way the interior of pack that allowed quick access to those things needed on the move v. s. components used while stopped for overnight. With the addition of the G-MOD pouches witch extended my ability to compartmentalize system for easy Identification. Example first aid and Hygiene which I prefer quick access on the outside of the pack. While I realize the bottom straps are ideal for GEO PRESS for this Bag I carry a ultra Press and 24 single wall canteen. Both of which fits well in the side pocket with ample space left. The addition of the tension strap on the side pocket are great addition for this purpose. Regarding wearing of the pack I am a larger guy and shoulder and waist straps both have plenty of length for even me. The thinner width of the pack on my back reduces hanging on every branch when traveling in thicker brush. All in all the pack carries well, forget it is on my back at times. I am not a expert on materials and such but both EXP Daypack – 25L and G-mod packs I have nice stitching, durable zippers and quality materials. I have even over packed a few time and have not experienced stressing or stretching that I can tell. Looking forward to many more fun outings with this pack and it lives in my car as a get home bag as well. Currently look at same or possibly the 30L for My Girl Friend. NICE Design GRAYL! "It has lots of pockets and storage areas. It carries close to a 20L pack. It tapers at the bottom which is different and has to change the layout inside a little. I’m pretty happy with it and I like the design."
"Great to leave in the car as an emergency bag or bugout bag. I highly recommend."
"You can fit everything you might need of your everyday task, quite comfortable even fully loaded!"
"All good"
"Great well built and durable pack. I like all the current features. I would have given it 5 stars but I would like to see a more robust waist belt with perhaps a small pocket or two. Other than that, great pack."
"I’m really happy with the backpack. Especially with the extra accessories I was able to purchase with it so far so good."
"I’ve been using the GRAYL Mission EXP 25L for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become my go-to pack for both day hikes and weekend trips. The build quality is bombproof—feels like it could survive anything—and the materials are clearly top-notch. I love how easy it is to organize gear with all the internal and external pockets, and the BottleLock system holds my purifier tight, even when scrambling. It’s not the lightest pack out there, but the durability and layout make up for it. Also, the tactical look is actually pretty slick in person. Overall, super solid pack—perfect for adventure travel or backcountry use."
