Molle ridden Mission EXP™ Hip Packs are overbuilt for maximum storage and comfort in the outdoors. Equipped with an internal pocket system, you can take what you need and compartmentalise with ease. Designed for your Grayl, our Expanse BottleDrop™ and BottleLock® storage systems offer you a multitude of options to carry any water bottle and essential gear. Velcro loop with a clip-in metal o-ring allows is an idyllic landing spot for grab-n-go G-Mod Velcro Accessory Pouches for quick and easy access to compact items. Constructed with 100% recycled nylon, stretch woven fabrics, YKK water-resistant zips, and premium hardware. Available in 2.0L, 2.5L and 4.5L capacities; each expandable by up to two liters when extra volume is needed by deploying the Expanse BottleDrop™ Pockets.

"This pack is really nice. First I got to 4. 5 L and that one is awesome. I use it for travel but it’s a little big for my daily use and this slightly smaller one is perfect. I’ve been able to get all this extra stuff out of my cargo pockets and it’s all neatly organized. I did order the little Velcro back parts to go on with the extra other little modular zipper containers. Those are coming so I’m gonna put one or two of those in depending on what I’m using it for I think I’ll make one into a little mini first aid kit. Very nice overall."

A Lot Packed into This Pack

"There's a lot packed into this waist pack. I'll list the pluses for me first. The canvas a super strong Bottle holder comes in handy when needed and hidden when you don't need it. Liked the velcro front - I ordered a patch to give it a personal look. For it's size, it's extremely light and seems to wrap itself around your waist when you are putting it on. The ventilation padding in the waist keeps you cool. Storage pockets are ample for what i need it for (dog walking and shopping) Cons - There's so many zippers so close together I have to always look with my eyes to see what pocket I'm opening rather than just feel. The back pocket is part of the handle which is always in the way when you're trying to open that storage area (handle is sewn in the zipper seam) The canvas shows lint in the black color - should have ordered a lighter color. No where on your site do you show a model wearing the waist packs in the front (like a fanny pack) so you can see how big each size is. I took a chance with the 2. 5 and wouldn't want it any larger."

For all your little doodads, but not much more

"I usually carry a sling bag, and was hoping this could replace it during my casual city hikes, but it's not a favorite. It's built extremely well, but that also makes it pretty heavy empty. My biggest complaint is that the pockets are too small. I can barely squeeze a cliff bar in the zippered hip pockets. The inner mesh zippered pocket is divided up into three pockets with only one zipper so you need to open all three to get to the last one, and it's so small anyways you can't fit anything much bigger than a lighter. I'm a fan of having smaller pouches in my bag to keep things together rather than having pockets for each one. So I have a tiny dyneema pouch for my med kit, and a lot of tools on my key chain. Both of these can only comfortably fit in the main pouch, making most of the other pockets useless. I intend to return this item."

Pod Pouches in size Medium universally fit every Grayl backpack, tote, hip pack and bottle carrier. For some smaller capacity objects (eg small Hip Packs, Transport Bottle Carrier handles, etc.) the Large pod pouch can be a tiny bit on the long side
